"I hope to elicit a visceral response from the viewer and am hoping to embrace the viewer with strong color, varied patterns, and numerous vignettes living inside the composition. If one had to describe my artwork in one word, the word “colorist” would define my work. All of the paintings are framed and under glass.

My paintings incorporate strokes of frenetic energy and lyrical movement.  They are strong and gestured in technique, usually very large in scale and evidence much texture, as seen in the various patterns. I use mainly mixed media, meaning my use of acrylics, oil sticks, pastels and gold paint is found on most of my paintings. I have been fascinated with borders surrounding my paintings, which add a festive feel to the overall painting. I believe my work evidences the feel that I have in my studio, working quickly and listening to my varied cd’s.  Enjoy!"
