Theo Bertz attended Ohio University and the Columbus College Of Art And Design, part  of the Columbus Gallery of Fine Arts. He served as art director of digital Equipment Corporation in Massachusetts and later as Art Director for Xerox Corporation. In 1976 he established his own design studio and has directed design projects for Ivy League Colleges, non-profit organizations and Fortune 500 corporations around the world. Theo's philosophy is that painting and graphics are basically one in the same. The organization of space and design. The way you portray shapes, color, texture, emotion and energy is the painting process. Theo works in multiple mediums from oils, acrylics, assemblage, watercolors and encaustic.
