My work draws deeply from the natural world, yet it exists in a space between the organic
and the abstract. Intricate, biomorphic forms and lyrical mark-making blur the boundary
between the familiar and the unknown, creating immersive environments where fluidity and
movement prevail. Through this interplay of shape and color, I seek to elevate the ordinary
into something profound—something that invites sustained contemplation.
While my practice has long leaned toward figurative abstraction, this tendency has
intensified following my artist residency in Japan. Since then, my focus has shifted more
deliberately toward the complexities of human nature and emotion—both our internal
feelings and the subtle dynamics that shape how we relate to one another.
