Reflections of Summer and Culture and the stories they tell in a collection of American Pop Art by Holly Manneck and Jennifer Graylock. Inspired by popular culture both artists explore

visual relationships and create a dialog with iconic images, objects and ideas.

Holly Manneck uses vintage images and her own photos always choosing images that she connects with. "I hope the viewer finds a connection that either evokes a feeling or thought. A universal connection is what I strive for. My art is a metaphor for life, the complexity of everyday life reveals that we are all simply human"- Manneck

Jennifer Graylock merges several seemingly incompatible worlds into a new universe. Transitioning mass media exaggeration with certain formal aspects in our contemporary society, Graylock creates works that can be seen as societal self-portraits. Sometimes they appear idiosyncratic and quirky, at other times, they seem typical by-products of American superabundance and marketing.

Both artists are masters at using media artworks in direct response to their surrounding environments and everyday experiences as a starting point. Come into the gallery to see the original work by both Holly Manneck and Jennifer Graylock and all the artists we have featured at the gallery!
