Steve Kopitz, a resident of Naples Florida ventured into painting after selling his
sporting goods business ten years ago. Born colorblind, he naturally was attracted
to bright colors that he could see. His paintings use high contrast and a whimsical
style, reflecting his creativity and out of the box thinking that made him a
successful entrepreneur. His distinctive style blends traditional and experimental
techniques using primarily acrylics, each with unique viscosities and pigment
characteristics, to achieve a vivid interplay of color, depth and dimension.
