"From my fist set of pastels and the wonderful smell of a box of crayons, I knew that I loved to create. While my friends played sports, I was president of my school's art club. I loved the early Saturday morning classes at the nearby Carnegie Museum Young Artist League, and attended every year from 5th to 12th grade.
I have an insatiable creative appetite. I love painting; it;s my favorite, but not my only creative interest. I also work in ceramics, fibers, fimo clay and jewelry. The hours I spend in my studio in Naples, FL and Harbor Springs, MI. are my happiest times.
In my current paintings, I have taken a multi-medium approach, using a combination of collage, metallic pigments and three dimensional modeling medium to create highly textural, energetic expressions of movement and color to express the joy and love of life I am feeling as I create the work."
