Stephen Mancini

“My subjects, and my techniques, are always in evolution.” But his recurring themes show nature and the human condition (usually, female) reacting in a modern world.

Mancini works reflect his sense of multiple happenings at the scene when he creates a painting….or multiple thoughts on its theme. Collectors report viewing his paintings as if through a screen showing yet other angles or aspects of the goings on.

“I enjoy including found objects into my paintings. That ‘pinch of beach sand’ seems to authenticate the truth of the work and helps pass along its meaning. Kind of a little secret, though.”

Mancini maintains studios in New England and Naples Florida.
