In her most recent work, shown in this collection at Sweet Art, Tammra continues
to deal with issues that have always been her concerns: paint, color, form, relationships,
juxtaposition, irony, play, randomness, whimsy….and always ….the mark. Viewers
will notice that while she references some of her earlier themes, such as flowers,
dogs and games, there is always a fresh and unexpected twist! Also of note is
a new interest in rain…the rhythm, continuim and pattern of rain. Surface becomes
an important focus. The work suggests a soft quietude, acceptance and a comfortable,
relaxed ease.
