CORY PATTERSON

Cory Patterson is a photographer/artist who has the ambition to make it to the top. He started experimenting with photography in high school and has loved it ever since. He attended a community college in hopes to further his education, but found that hands-on experience in a photography studio was the best way to gain the knowledge necessary to continue his career. Gary Yonkers, owner of Gary Yonkers Photography, in Michigan, definitely deserves recognition for teaching Cory the techniques behind lighting and shooting.

Cory’s eye for snapping a picture is never traditional, but creative and cutting-edge. He thrives on making each picture one-of-a-kind and will not be happy until it is perfect in every way according to his style. Inspired by Penny Brisco, his high school photo journalism teacher, she is the reason he first put a camera in his hands. While he loves taking portraits and snapping beautiful landscapes, his favorite is fashion photography.

Along with taking pictures, Cory wanted to put a spin on things, and add mixed media art pieces to his collection. They bring out his personality, creativity, and views even more to say the least. He thoroughly enjoys creating these peculiar and dynamic wall hangings.

Cory grew up in Battle Creek, Michigan, moved to Naples with his wife in February 2005. They recently had a baby girl and life has become even more fulfilling. Cory has over 10 years experience with photography and has no intention of ever putting the camera down.
